Plenty of white water yesterday as the swell & wind picked up -www.sennen-cove.com/todaysurf.htm. Set to become large & blown out

Went downhill rapidly this afternoon after a lovely morning
(
www.sennen-cove.com/today2.htm ), but certainly not the torrential
rain and near gale forecast. The frontal rain lasted from around
15:30-17:45, gave a total of 8.9mm. At no point was it particularly
heavy despite the bright echos. Maximum gust of 32mph around 17:30,
which I suspect will be beaten overnight if we pass through a shower.
