Apparently it has been a warm day according to Alex Deakin but it will be
gradually hotting up to temperatures lower than yours and mine were today!

Our maximum today was 29.6degC (6C error on web site forecast)... so we
got a little boost (not unusual this time of year) from the obs above.
This means that today (Wednesday) was the warmest day since 8th June
(29.9degC), which latter is still our hottest day of 2004.
