MetO T+132 FAX at http://www.wetterzentrale.de/topkarten/fsfaxsem.html
Very little wind, axis of high pressure, colder air, all the ingredients
are
there for a freezing fog event in the usual places like the Midlands, Vale
of
York, Manchester, etc. ?
Interesting also that the MetO is going along with the idea of a northern
high,
although I think it may sink south with time.

Certainly an increasing risk, Will. The flattening of the diurnal
temperature range in the meteogram plots lends support to either fog or a
lot of low cloud at times next week. Either way I suspect it won't be much
fun for those undertaking Openroad and aviation forecasting :-(
In the short term some fog looks likely down this way tonight
