Hello and Good Morning form a frosty East Brighton.
Iv always hada keen interest in the weather and this newsgroup, but now Iv
time on my hands i want too get more involved, so for starters, can any one
suggest a good easy to use weather station mpref. one with extra sensors,
I know there are lots too choose from , hence my question ,Many TIA, best
wishes for 2008, Ant
In addition to my Vantage Pro I found LIDL did a super little ASCOT
weather station for £17.99! I gave two of my three kids one each for
Christmas I was so impressed.
Outside sensor does temp max and min and current plus Hygro
Inside: pressure plus bar graph showing tendency for the last 1
hr,2,6,12hrs; Inside temp max and min plus hygro; useful sunrise and
sunset; moon rise and set plus picture of its current phase; time and
date ( picked up from Rugby I think); alarm (2) for the clock. The
sensor has a good range which means I can take the station wherever on
the three storeys here.
It seems reasonably accurate ( the barometer was set a month ago and
is still what Yeovilton/Boscombe Down say it should be)and the key
thing is that it is quite fun. The instructions were amazingly
fullsome and properly written
Hope that helps.
