that the Man-Made Global Warming believers can never explain why
it's true in less than 100 lines?
Not to mention Man-Made Global Warming is nothing more than a
'theory'
Gravity on the other hand is a LAW.
Who doubts Gravity? No one.
Who doubts Man-Made Global Warming? About 600 scientists
worldwide.
The 'theory' said by all the Man-Made Global Warming believers is
that those scientists must all be working for or being paid off by
big bad oil companies.
You people are very silly.
Explain, in detail, from first principles, how gravity works.
That is stupid. Gravity is a LAW and works very well.
If you don't want to play the game, don't stand on a pticher's mound
with a stupid grin on your face, rubbing a baseball against your
crotch.
Physical laws should have simple explanations. Explain how gravity
works in less than 100 lines.
What you're doing is avoiding a subject that you know cannot be
proven.
"Man's Actions" causing a GLOBAL rise in temps is so stupid I can't
see defending it.
What about the scientists who disagree? I guess they all work for big
bad nazi oil companies? All 600 of them, right?
^-Godwin's Law
The point is that if you can't explain something as simple as gravity,
which everyone believes in, why should I believe you understand
something as complex as climate physics, which over 600 scientists, many
of them with actual training in something vaguely related to climate
physics (e.g., physical chemistry, molecular biology, explosives
engineering), don't believe in? This points out to me you are simply
not qualified to make any assessments whatsoever about complicated
technical issues since you can't even understand basic simple things.
Besides, aren't you just here to provide comic relief? I seem to recall
you saying something like that once. Maybe it was foo-foo. I get all
you guys confused, you all sound the same.
Why is it though, that none of you skeptics can understand that you can
*never* prove a theory. It is a logical impossibility. Theories can
only be disproven. Instead of requiring people to prove a theory, which
can't be done and asking someone to do it makes the asker look ignorant
of philosophy and science, it is much more powerful to provide evidence
disproving a theory. It takes you from being a passive voice in the
discussion, to having an active voice. Admittedly, this is very hard to
do with respect to climate change (and frankly I don't think any of you
are up to the task), so instead we get assinine requests to prove
theories. Again, this shows why you skeptics are getting an ass****ing
of biblical proportions (to quote Neal Stephenson) in terms of the
scientific debate. You need to start bringing some credible objections
raised by people who don't have internet kook websites discussing why
quantum mechanics is wrong.
Anyway, Godwin's Law, thread's over.
