Another rediculously mild month so far, the mean temperature for October
is running at 16C at London Weather Centre (18.6C mean Tmax) to 20th, and
15.7C at Portsmouth. The forecast of more average weather at times next
week may take the edge of these, but the GFS hints at more unusually mild
weather by the end of next week.


I wonder if I will make it to November without having to put the heating on.
It will be a first if so.
