Hello. I'm new in this forum, but I have got a tip for this forum. And
I
have a litte weather station an Oregon 112. But I'm searching for a
program
to my pc where I can put into my data from my weatherstation manualy.
Did
someone know about a dataprogram like this?

Is a spread sheet what he should be looking at? Even if it was, is XL
likely to be as useful to him as one of the open source free ones. Of
course, there is online help for all sorts of officeware. And I am not
a fanboy. I happen to prefer M$'s stuff. But I was wondering about the
available help in setting up such stuff for a weather station.

.... I use MS Excel and find it OK, as I believe do many. The usual data
manipulation can be performed - means, extremes, simple graphs etc., and
the data can be easily exported to other MS apps and to web pages.
However, all modern spreadsheet apps should handle these functions well,
so sticking with MS isn't necessary.

.... There is an entry in the FAQ for uk.sci.weather at:-

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/FAQ/7B.htm

( Richard H. Brockmeier ) which I was asked to include; I can't
recommend or otherwise this software as I don't use it, but it would
seem to perhaps fit the bill.

I'm not sure if you can subscribe to uk.sci.weather, but despite the
'uk' domain, we have a widely read list of users across Europe (in
English), and I know many there have answered the question you have
posed; if you repost there, I'm sure you'll get some helpful hints.

All the best,

Martin.
