555 is just an identifier group for the extra data that follows. Much
like 333 separates actual data from climat data.
You'd have to check their spec's as to what is included in this last set
of data. In Canada, we have four groups that can be included, dealing
with snowfall & max wind in the past 24 hrs. It is generally only
recorded at 0600Z, but if no syno's are sent at 0600Z, then it is
included at 1200Z.
I'm sure if you checked the Italian Met Services web site, or sent them
a letter, you'd find out what the groups included after 555 are. Sorry I
couldn't help any more...
