That's my Sunday afternoon cycling patch. My half-million shows 400'
at Wratting Common, and 419' at Credburgh, but on the ground it's
all pretty much level at that height, known as the Suffolk plateau, not
just "a small area". So looking north from anywhere between central
London and the Straits of Dover you can reckon that there's a 400' ridge
between you and the North Pole.
