Fascinating!

When snow and ice is forecast, many here welcome such forecasts with
glee, despite the disruption, accidents and severe discomfort and danger
for the elderly that will happen because of it! Why not do the same for
sun and heat?

Well I for one always welcome the prospect of hot weather. I am just about
to head off to our seaside cottage for a couple of weeks and I would vote
for unbroken sunshine and daytime temperatures over 25ºC, with spectacular
thunderstorms each night as soon as it's dark enough, but not long enough to
prevent a good night's sleep.
