Since when has La Palma been in the Azores???
Met Office web site ~ NEWS snip Puddles in La Palma. | Issued on: Fri Sep 3rd 2004 The Azores are normally very dry at this time of year, all thanks to the Azores High, with average rainfall of just 4.4mm. Imagine the surprise of the locals waking up to heavy rain, as it was doing at 0600GMT on the 3rd September. In the preceeding six hours, 10mm of rain fell, over twice the monthly average. snip The Canary Islands I think.
