Help required by Newbie??
 

Hello everybody - I am not a lurker but found this website by accident and
wondered if anyone is able to help me.

I regularly need to know 3 things.

1) the best website for the past weather conditions by month in locations
around the UK e.g. what was the weather usually like in late April in the
western isles of Scotland

2) the best website for a source of a long range forecast for the UK up to
6 - weeks

3) the best website for UK weather forecasts on a daily basis for up to a
week out.

I am currently using

I am quite capable of interpreting synoptic charts - I don't need a blow by
blow Noddy guide - tomorrow morning it will be windy type explanations

The less graphical and 'clever' websites are preferred as my connection is
only 9.6 with a satellite phone and everything takes along time and Thuraya
time is expensive!!!!
