Visibility rapidly improved to very good as the fog cleared. Surface wind generally SE-SSW F2-3, but increasing F5 with gusts to 27 knots for a short time around 1825z, becoming generally SW F0-1 after 2000z. Minimum temperature so far is 3.3 (0502z).
