Default {OT] WOW site down?

Is anyone else having difficulty connecting to the Met Office WOW site
today? For me, it has been producing a screen that says unauthorised. I
haven't seen this before.

Hi, Bernard,
I've emailed MetO about the problem. They are aware and busy fixing it

Hi, George,
Site works fine until I try logging in to enter the obs. Being looked at, apparently. Sod's Law that it would happen today with the readings from your part of the world!

Ah, I see. I did find you just now via the search facility. Way back in
time, when WOW started I was provided with an add-on script which
enabled Weatherlink for Windows to upload automatically to WOW. However
the setup is a real palaver and even now it tends to fall over from time
to time. Any upgrade to Windows means I have to ask for further support
from the WOW team at Exeter.
