0700z: 20006KT 10km Recent rain 1ST004 6SC012 (/SC040) 7.7/7.1 QFF 993.0 rising.
SYNOP: 41260 72006 10077 20071 49930 53001 72162 875// 333 81704 86612= Partly cloudy with light winds until midnight, cloudy and breezy since then with slight or moderate rain since 0500z which has just stopped. Upslope stratus formed in the rain over the south Shropshire hills, with a period of more widespread stratus during the heaviest of the rain. Visibility generally very good, but dropping to moderate or poor during the rain. Surface wind light and variable at first, becoming S F3-4 after midnight, and moderating F2-3 late in the night.
