Much colder here, min -4.8°C. Sky clear all night or at least up until the maximum of the lunar eclipse after which I thought I really ought to go to bed.

Similar here in Cranleigh. A hard frost this morning, the last trace of
which didn't disappeared from my shaded lawn till around noon. Some thin
high cloud, but traces of blue sky visible almost all day. It's
surprising how much difference 30 or so miles (guessing at the distance
between Wokingham and Cranleigh) can make.

I forgot all about the eclipse. I wouldn't have stayed up all night, but
I could have peeped through the curtains during my visit to the loo
around 5 am.

Yes Tudor and John, there was a slow moving band of Sc which kept us covered
nearly all night. The grass min was early in the evening when there were
some breaks in the cloud, and the air min also during the evening.
