Bright morning with some weak sunshine through extensive high and medium-level cloud. Cloudy from midday until mid-afternoon, but the cloud then broke again to give sunny intervals in the couple of hours before dusk. Temperature still rather above the seasonal normal. Light to moderate SSE to S wind, tending to freshen in the evening.
