Another 31.6mm of rain in the 24 hours to 09:00, on top of the 29.7mm 2 days ago (and other bits of rain inbetween & earlier this month).
Added to the prom being closed and covered in weed, pebbles & water the lat 2 tides, roads near the sea front closed, it's all been rather exciting. Getting (OT) now - be warned! Also, 4 years after the 2014 devastation no trains getting passed Dawlish, basically no further forward. In fact they still haven't decided what to do, but the idea (move the line out to sea into deeper water away from the cliff!!) seems the favoured (cheapest) option. Assuming that's decided sometime this year, then detailed plans will have to be drawn up, the money found . . . That is the issue with democracy, always put off until tomorrow if you can, let someone else deal with it. Look at plastics, I mean why this https://www.radionz.co.nz/assets/new...jpg?1435123100 when this is fine https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dnr47RgX0AA1v4H.jpg Graham Penzance |
