SYNOP: 42784 13303 10038 21010 49991 58001 81500 333 81650=
A fine, clear and frosty evening and night. Hoar frost depositing from early evening. Top end of moderate hoar frost this morning. Fine and sunny since daybreak, with a small amount of high-based stratocumulus and excellent visibility. Surface wind was calm overnight, with a light northwesterly breeze picking up in the past hour.

29/0900z to 30/0900z:
Max: 7.5 (1517z)
Min: -2.8 (0611z)
Rain: 0.2 mm (frost melt)

Cloudy for a time this morning as thin stratocumulus layers spread from the east, but the cloud appears to be retreating eastwards again. Excellent visibility. F2 northwesterly breeze.

1500z: 31005KT 60km Sky clear 8.7/0.2 QFF 999.1 falling.
SYNOP: 42986 03105 10087 20002 49991 55001=
Stratocumulus continued to thin and disperse. There was some local convection between 1230z and 1400z, but the skies are now clear. Enormous visibility. Light northwesterly breeze. Maximum temperature today was 9.6 (1423z).
