See the message I sent last week-failing that have a look at John Dann's Prodata website. Keith (Southend) Ok, been migrated as of 16:58 today. Now, trying to put a link on my website etc so I can view on my phone etc, but can only find 3 links I can use, all of which are pretty basic. How do you get the full bulletin and graphical pages on you website? Keith (Southend) You may have to upgrade to get all you wish for. I think the Basic grade is just that. You could experiment by putting the Bulletin url into the HTML on your webpage (vis shortcut). However you may have to look at permissions for that to work. As far as viewing the Bulletin on your phone just use the url for that page. I can now see your site via the 'Map' option by the way. -- George in Swanston, Edinburgh, 580'asl www.swanstonweather.co.uk I did think that maybe the case George. I imagine to get the bulletin you basically will be logging in on your phone. Keith (Southend) |

I get the impression that Davis are still developing this latest WL2 sofware. -- George in Swanston, Edinburgh, 580'asl www.swanstonweather.co.uk |

I get the impression that Davis are still developing this latest WL2 sofware. This is one of the differences that users see with online software of which weatherlink.com is of course just another example. With software distributed on eg CD (or even via downloads), updates obviously tend to be done as discrete versions and with new versions being released at irregular, sometimes long, intervals. With online software, the developer is able to tweak and update the current version whenever they feel that a new feature or bugfix has been sufficiently tested and is ready for general use. And so some detail of the software may change every week or every month. So, yes in one sense Davis are still developing wl.com, but that's simply a process that will continue indefinitely as the current features roadmap is progressively implemented and new features are added or modified in response to user feedback. |

How do you get the full bulletin and graphical pages on you website? Viewing on a phone is best done via the Weatherlink app - free to download. I only use the iOS one, but there should be one for the Android platform too. Make sure that you get the 2.0 version and not the old one. If your web server supports PHP then someone has written a script to mimic the old blue sky and summary screens. It's on the WXF forum - see: http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=35189.0 I'm probably having a 'blonde' moment, but from the link above where do you download the script from? Keith (Southend) |

Isn't it in the attachment (wl2.zip) to the first post in the thread? Sorry, haven't actually tried this myself, just aware that the thread is ongoing. Also, obviously, you do need a little knowledge about using PHP - if you need any help then suggest you might try posting to the WXF thread - the author seems quite helpful. |

Downloaded now, I needed to be registered and logged in to 'WXForums.net' before I could see it there, which I am now. I have a Pearl script I use, someone wrote it for something else, but I assume PHP is something else that needs installing on my computer to access. I'm on the late shift today, so will ask the question tomorrow morning. Thanks Keith (Southend) |

But more commonly it will be on the web server where you post your weather data for others to view. It's this server that needs to support PHP - I think that most do these days, but it is something that needs checking. |

Thanks for the pointer John, the forum you pointed me to has being very helpful and all now working :-) http://www.southendweather.net/wl2/load_wl2.php In fact, it's better, as I had the option to change the name of 'Extra Temp 2' to Grass minimum, on the extra sensor. Also have the Davis App working on my Android phone, the migration and update is growing on me :-) Many thanks Keith (Southend) |
