Norman, we agree! A splendid day.

Unbroken sunshine all day and a maximum of 18.3C with barely a breath of
wind. Beautiful, especially after what has been a few days of scant
sunshine amounts.

Some good autumnal colour appearing here and there though most trees
(mostly oaks) are still rather reluctant to lose their summer green.
