Cloudy morning and lunchtime. Slight rain and drizzle started not long after 0930z, and became moderate for almost an hour between 1000z and 1100z, with a brief burst of heavy around 1025z when the rate almost reached 10 mm/hr. Precipitation tailed off by 1100z, and has been slight and intermittent since then. Cloud and visibility were both low during the heavier precipitation, but there are only a few scraps of upslope stratus left now. Surface wind is still light, and has veered southerly. Visibility back up to the very good category.

F3 southerly wind veered southwesterly for a time, before falling light and backing easterly. Very good visibility now the precipitation has stopped. Maximum temperature today was 20.8 (1337z) - the coolest day of the month, but still just above the average maximum.
