1200z: 04002KT 50km 4CU045 (1SC060 1CI250) 26.3/15.4 QFF 1024.5 falling.
SYNOP: 12684 40402 10263 20154 40245 57013 84801 333 84845= About half cover of cumulus bases now. Some of the clouds just to the south of me are definitely Cu med, so instability looks deeper today, and I reckon there may be convergence between the sea breeze over the Vale of Glamorgan and the general northeasterly low-level flow happening over the high ground to the south of me. Maybe showers later? Excellent visibility and just a light northeasterly drift, although it was F2-3 earlier. -- Freddie Ystrad Rhondda 148m AMSL http://www.hosiene.co.uk/weather/ https://twitter.com/YstradRhonddaWx for hourly reports (no wind measurement currently) |
