Default F6 NNE near Lands End

Bit blowy on the tip of Cornwall, just the tip. The wind's N to NNE, which always is a strong direction for Lands End. If it was NE to ENE, it would be quite different, aligned with the peninsula.

Recent reports from Lands End on XCWEather show a F6, 26 - 29 mph over the last couple of hours. A F7 at Sevenstones. Much nearer a F4 in Penzance, though sadly it's cloudy. At least it's dry.

Seas almost flat in Mount's Bay with the wind directly offshore & not much real swell https://www.aspects-holidays.co.uk/w...michaels-mount

The rain stayed to the east The odd sunny interval led to the temperature to rising close to 15C, though it's felt cool in the breeze - which has died down in the last couple of hours.

Plenty of sunshine out on Scilly, well to the west of the decaying front. In fact blue sky tantalisingly close to Lands End all day.
