Continuous rain since the middle of Monday afternoon, persistently moderate in intensity (1-1,5 mm/hr) with the odd heavier burst to 4-5 mm/hr around midnight, giving 18.8 mm so far for the event. A cloudy mild night with a minimum temperature of 8.5 (1950z). Currently overcast with slight rain, and breezy.

Slight rain continues, although skies are much brighter, and two valleys over to the north-east (at 0915z) the low cloud had broken to reveal a layer of altocumulus and altostratus above. ENEly breeze has eased slightly, and the visibility has improved.

A bright end to a dreary day. Rain became briefly moderate between 1245z and 1300z, stopping by 1400z. Cloud started to break around 1500z. A fair bit of blue sky visible now, which makes a change from the past 24 hours. Excellent visibility. Max temperature today was 11.3 (1001z).
