[WR] Ystrad, Rhondda Valley - 01 Apr 2018
 

Moderate rain became moderate rain and snow around 2100z. The proprtion of snow has been varying since - sometimes 50/50, sometimes 100% snow - but currently is about 80% snow. Approximately 2 cm on the ground - but high ground above 300 metres looks very white, even in the dark, so probably several centimetres up there, in order to cover the grass and died-back vegetation enough for me to see from here in the dark. 12 mm of precipitation since it started at 1615z. The temperature has fallen from 6.5 degrees to 1 degree in that timespan.
