Bit (OT) Very constructive waves of late
 

The sea's been pretty rough over recent days, but the period has generally been very short, so the waves have had little energy. As a result, the waves have been constructive rather than destructive. In fact, even over the last couple of days the sand's been accumulating at Sennen, despite an often strong onshore wind - which normally has the effect of removing sand from the beach.

Notice how much the river has been diverted by the steady building of a sandbank. Last Sunday the river was flowing directly into the sea (near enough)
