If only life was perfect, sadly not, and not that 1000 mm of rain is perfect, far from it.
However, from 1 December until midnight 10 March, 997.1 mm rain (snow) fell here, thereby avoiding the nice round average of 10 mm per day. Yesterday was dry, but the 1000 mm was reached in the early hours of the morning and to join in the celebration, numerous drops accumulated to a total of 27.2 mm today, making the average now just over 10 mm per day. (Further showers possible in the next hour). I'm not even going to think about what I will do if this average is maintained throughout 2018. Someone may die, most likely me, drowned by my wife for even contemplating living somewhere where that average might even be possible. DM. C/O the Ark. 740m and falling. La Moratille. Correze.
