Snowing in Brussels
 

Since midday, we have had freezing drizzle and then freezing rain at -2.5°C. Over the past hour there has been fairly steady moderate snowfall: all surfaces covered - about 2 cm now.

Snow now very light: probably 3 to 4 cm cover.

Traffic at a standstill in much of the centre of Brussels and some disruption to public transport.

Traffic situation has now improved, but 130 flights have been cancelled at Brussels Airport because of the snow.
