Deficit for any 15 May, 539,000 sq km.
If the same rate of the last 2 weeks is continued , then looking
unlikely to reach 22 million this year.

Default [CC] Global Sea Ice at record low

For NOAA SST plotof 16 May 2019, pixel counting evaluation dropped to
+0.80 degC and 0.3% of -0.25 deg C bin for El Nino 3.4 sea-area.
So looks like El Nino is passed peak, although next rolling quarter NOAA
evaluation might show 0.9 for MAM quarter.

Latest spot valuation of Nino sector 3.4 , for NOAA 20 May output, up to
0.84, about 1 pixel (about 0.1%) of 2.25 deg C bin and 0.6% of -0.25 deg
C bin. Will the next "first thursday" NOAA rolling quarter be up to 0.9
