Yes read it. Climate change has seemingly always been abrupt, for instance when looking at ice cores, there isn’t just a gradual change from one colour or texture of ice layer by layer, but very sudden ones making very distinct layers, this would indicate rapid change. So I don’t see that rapid change is abnormal Paul |

This time round that appears not to be the case - but yet we are still going through a change. Which begs the question why.
