Started snowing here at about 5am, and when it stopped at 2pm there was
a complete cover of 14cm. Can't remember when we last had that much in
one go. Temperature has hovered between +0.1 and +0.4 for most of the
day, and has now risen to +0.5 in the last couple of hours.

The dog has never seen snow before, and when I let her out at breakfast,
after 5 or so seconds of dubiousness she went absolutely ape for 5
minutes. At least amongst all the excitement she remembered what she was
out there for, so I didn't have to take her for an early walk.

Just taken her out now, and it has started snowing again.

The minimum temperature here tomorrow night (Monday) is forecast at
-12C. That could cause a few problems on the roads, because the salt
they use in these parts is only effective down to -14C. Drivers beware!!!
