Wintry in Brussels: sleet and snow showers, and snow cover this evening
 

Brussels on Thursday 30th November 2017

Overcast and wet at first, with light rain which turned briefly to sleet just before 10.00 local time.

Dry with brief sunny intervals towards and over midday, but overcast again from early afternoon.

Rain shower at 13.30, and then sleet from 14.20 which turned to wet snow before stopping at 15.30. Further light snow from 16.15 and sleet and snow showers after dark in the early evening, leading to a covering of wet snow in the garden here.

Cold and raw with a mostly light W wind. Temperature only just above freezing from mid-afternoon.

Snow cover at Uccle seems to be thicker than where I live, and can be seen on the Uccle webcam.
