A morning for the shops.

Not even blustery here. Just damp, spots of rain here and there and grey
with a temperature around 10C for much of the day. Drier and a bit
brighter during the afternoon but not by much.

I now have my hands on a Blake-Larson sunshine recorder. Maybe up and
running at the weekend; maybe not but will hopefully get it working
soon. It will be placed alongside my R&D recorder for comparison results.

It is never a morning for the shops. That was what the internet was
invented for. The internet delivers Xmas and everything else.

Ha! Go for it Graham. Though I did get it on the cheap and it is quite
an impressive piece of equipment.

Now to mount it on a 5 metre pole attached to the apex of a my tall(ish)
house which will (hopefully) be high enough (around 12 metres) to clear
the oak trees that are at the end of the garden (to the east). Because
of the way how this recorder works, I suspect it might record slightly
more sunshine than the existing R&D recorder, we'll see.

A cold feeling day with a few, brief showers and plenty of sunshine (6.7
hours). Maximum of just 8.7C - brrrrr! Winter's here.
