Default Penzance - 13th As good as it gets in November.

Yesterday saw long sunny periods, little wind, and a maximum of 12.2C. Some very thin Sc drifted south around the middle of the day, but soon broke up again. Minimum in the 24 hours to 09:00 today was 5.2C. You can tell we're getting towards winter when Penzance & Scilly are regularly amongst the warmest spots. Out in a small boat, or Paddle Boarding, in sunshine, little wind and an SST of 13-14C was a pleasant place to be in yesterdays conditions.

It's been a very benign November so far.
http://www.cornwallcam.co.uk/recently.htm Most parts of the UK have been dry, but it's been very dry here (and in NE England / E Scotland http://www.met.reading.ac.uk/~brugge/percr.jpg )

Currently generally cloudy but dry. A sheet of low cloud with some hill top mistiness. Though breaking now near Scilly, and that's heading this way.

As good as it gets?
No, raging northerly with snow showers would be good!
Your weather was just boring, cloudy and dry :-)

Cloudy - what gave you that idea from my post? It might have been cloudy & boring where you were, here it was pint in the sunshine wearing shades looking out across the Bay weather, all very welcome in November. Even on top of the moors at Bossullow there was nearly 6 hours of sunshine.

A big storm is exciting, November is frequently just plain dull & miserable..

Anyway - more to your taste I believe! http://www.turnstone-cottage.co.uk/ExtremeNov2010.pdf
