[OT] September not so eternal
I note several posts were losts in the server change over at
eternal-september including one I posted from there last evening which appeared via other servers (such as aioe) but has still not turned up on e-s this morning. To celebrate the new server, I can confirm that it is, of course, raining its little heart out and is forecast to do so all week. At least the winds have dropped to sensible levels. (posted via e-s) I was unaware of the change yesterday am. reader.eternal-september.org server name , reader instead of news in the name. At least password was the same. On weather stuff. The first time I'd heardof frontogenesis on the BbC news 21:57 weather spot on Sunday , for the low this coming weekend. Wiki has no mention of upper air vorticity/jetstream in that structure. I assumed the isobar narrowing , on the south of the low, was due to the jetstream and cyclogenesis is the term I'd put to it. But as jet could be split or single, anywhere from Scotlan to North Africa, according to which model you look at, all could change yet. |

Why do you suppose that is? |
