Cloudy at first on Saturday, with a couple of very light rain showers around 1100z-1115z. Cloud became more broken during the afternoon (but still large amounts) allowing sunny intervals. Less cloud during the second half of the afternoon with sunny periods. Cloud dispersed early evening to give a clear and cold night with a minimum temperature of 6.7 (0445z) which appears to be one of the coldest in the UK. Copious dew this morning. Excellent visibility, with a very thin layer of high Sc that has drifted across during the past half an hour. Some thin cirrus and contrails above.
