Default Decent rainfall for SE

18.8mm of rain overnight here in Southend-on-Sea and looks like more tonight. Could this be the end of our drought. Keith (Southend)

16.2mm in Wanstead, Keith. Reading Bruce's latest it looks like a change of type - a wet summer coming with possible hot, dry end to August?

31.2 mm here for the whole event. Strangely the rain first thing produce
twice as much as the evening rain which was the opposite of the
forecast. SO I got almost as much yesterday as the previous three months
combined!
