Missing reports for Aberdeen Dyce
 

There have been no synops ot metars from Aberdeen Dyce for several days (the
last I remember seeing was on the 15th). Does anyone know if this is a
permanent loss, or a temporary glitch?
Ogimet query returns the following:

Time interval: from 09/18/2016 07:30 to 09/19/2016 08:30 UTC
03091, Aberdeen / Dyce (United Kingdom)
ICAO index: EGPD. Latitude 57-12N. Longitude 002-13W. Altitude 65 m.


There are no SYNOPS from 03091 during solicited interval in the database.
Check the solicited index or interval.
Note that a WMO index is a five digit index.You can find out if a common
name city/place has an observatory with WMO index here

Yes no Synops since the 15th on OGIMET. Just checked the 0900 UTC Synops on FSU and its missing there too. It has to be a comms problem, they couldn't take out the AWS from such an important site as that.

That's great, now all they have to do is figure out what they did with the observatory on Ben Nevis and all will be well!
