I was driving between Salisbury and Shaftesbury this lunchtime and drove
through the heaviest downpour I can recall being in. Regular lightning but couldn't hear the thunder over the sound of the rain. Drove through several lakes, some on the top of hills. At least one low-lying pub appeared to have been flooded. Does anybody have any idea of the rainfall amounts please? Google found me nothing. Returned this evening to a dry Portsmouth region! -- Kev NNNN |
