Penzance - Mild Wet Start
Temperature remained above 10C throughout the 24 hours to 09:00 today, 10.5C at 09:00. Overnight rain has amounted to 6.2mm, looks like there's a couple of hours to go yet.
Dramatic picture of Tuesdays big swell at Cape Cornwall. http://www.cornishman.co.uk/images/l...15/9546158.jpg Shortish period and not overly powerful, but certainly the most dramatic conditions of the winter. Graham Penzance I would really appreciate it if people didn't hijack my posts for political reasons. Thank you. |

Graham Penzance Some lovely sunshine this afternoon, though there was a brief shower around 13:15. Not too windy either, in fact very nice, take a look http://www.sennen-cove.com/today2.htm. With far less swell and wind there's little salt in the air and the visibility is back up to forecast levels. The temperature is starting to fall way now after the mild start. No sharp drop with the clearance, just a gentle edging down. At 16:00 around 8C. Graham Penzance |

Temperature peaked with 11.3C at 10:30 then slowly fell throughout the rest of the day. Not much rain out of this morning's cold front - just 3.7 mm. Despite the promise of dull, misty weather yesterday the 'tropical' stuff yielded a really pleasant and generally bright day with sunny intervals and maximum temperature of 13.0C. -- Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 20 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |

You're a clone of your mate Little Willie, you post only to let the rest of us know how superior you feel to everybody else. Like Little Willie you flounced but couldn't stay away and were soon back. Why ? To let us all know how superior you feel. To repeat myself " Cornwall THE most overrated county in the UK. -- Reg |
