Wet start in Brussels but sunny and mild this afternoon

Dull and wet at first after overnight rain, but dry by 09.00 local time
and the first bright intervals appeared just before midday. Sky cleared
to sunshine and extensive high cloud soon after midday, and the
afternoon was sunny and mostly clear once the high cloud had moved away
in its turn. Quite mild. Moderate to fresh SW wind in the early
morning soon decreased and veered WSW; light to moderate W to WNW wind
during the afternoon and evening.
