Default Heavy rain for South Wales..

The odd little weather feature running ENE across the South Wales at the moment seems to be producing a lot of moderate/heavy rain...
The SW of England seems to have got away with it for the moment , although North Devon seems to be on the edge of things.
According to the 0600 UTC analysis from the MO it's a triple point feature - but I don't see much of a drop in dewpoint in the Scillies at 0900 UTC.

Bruce.

Yes indeed - we saw 24mm here on the S. Wales coast, with a few high
intensity bursts, but travelling inland gave us some very heavy rain
over longer periods, no doubt in part orographically enhanced. Temps
actually increased during the day to around 18C now at 20:50

Cheers

James
