Is there such a thing as the highest recorded temp at midnight in the
UK. Tonight can't be far off I would have thought. 26C now at 11.00pm Dave, S.Essex |

Belfast 17.5C Cardiff 17.7C Edinburgh 16.0C London 23.8C (Was 25.2C at 23.00) RAF Leconfield in Yorkshire recorded 24.4C at midnight. This is up 1.1C on the 23.00 reading!!! RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire recorded 24.7C at midnight. This is 0.5C higher than their 23.00 reading!!! RAF Marham in Norfolk recorded 24.8C at midnight. This was 0.9C lower than at 23.00. Manston Airport in Kent recorded 24.3C at midnight. This was 2.0C higher than 23.00!!!!! Who said it got cooler as the night wore on????? jim, Northampton |
