[OBS] Bayston Hill, Shropshire - 28 Apr 2013
0900z: 26008KT 50km 1CU025 6AC090 10.6/3.8 QFF 1014.9 falling.
SYNOP: 42584 62608 10106 20038 40149 57015 81130 333 81825 86359= Variable cloud yesterday, with some decent sunny spells. Showers didn't get going until almost 1300z, with a heavy one (max 11 mm/hr) accompanied by hail (5mm stones) and thunder (three loud long rumbles) around 1400z. There were a couple of light rain showers thereafter, but all had died away by 1700z, and skies were virtually clear from 1800z until the early hours of today. This allowed a slight ground frost - which melted as soon as the cloud moved in. Currently bright and breezy with excellent visibility. 27/0900z - 28/0900z: Max: 10.6 (0859z) [Day max 10.5 (1500z)] Min: 2.4 (0052z) Rain: 1.5 mm.
