They've changed it. Now it's about BP's oil spill.

Good, something far more important at present than a debate that will change
nothing.

How will this change be an improvement? BP couldn't get another rig
on site before it did, no matter how urgent the problem. And the
outflow figures were always only going to be very rough estimates as a
well's potential is only guesstimated after sevral weeks production.

That is all there is to say on the subject. Why nobody could designn a
reliable fault free system is a matter for all governments that have
oil beds and all companies that drill into them.

Plenty of companies are still using the faulty valve. Those that are
not are using a different process entirely.

You don't have to watch a programme to know these things. You don't
even have to understand engineering.

All you have to do is realise when a politiician is speaking he is
telling you lies and when a journalist is telling you news it is only
someone's opinion of what you should hear.

You wouldn't have misse much. But then I would say that wouldn't I.
The Brazil / Chili match was well played. I only hope that England can
do as well when they get a team together.

Well, what a waste of half-an-hour. Lowered the dumbing-down bar yet again.
