Westerlies milder now

Ahead of the low down here in S Wales the temperature tumble has ceased
at about 4.8 here on the coast. As the westerly wind picks up I'm not
expecting any frost or wintry precip. I'll wait now for the next round
of the battle.

Cheers

It's strange Gareth - I actually have three sensors outside - one at
ground level the other two at higher levels. With the SST's at 10C and a
west wind I am struggling to know how Port Talbot is so cold. I was up
in Llangeinor tonight - about five miles north and there the temp was
-2C and we had a mini-blizzard coming home. Car thermometer when we
reached home was 4C.

I think a west wind at PT is coming off a longer land fetch, so maybe
that explains it?

Cheers

James
