I have just joined this group having been pointed in this direction by
Graham Easterling of Penzance.
I have a long-standing interest in the weather - I have been making my
own observations since 1987 (from various locations) and I contribute
data to the Weather Observers' Network magazine. I'd like to ask if
anyone is willing to let me include their daily observational data for
a database I'm putting together of some stations around the UK? It's
for non-commercial, personal use - I'll make sure I don't earn a penny
out of it! The data I'm interested is daily max temp, min temp, 24-
hour rainfall, sunshine totals and 'present weather' code, or just
some if not all fields are available for all days - for 1996 (or
before?) onwards. I've got 4 sets of data already and would be hugely
appreciative if people have any more to offer.
