After showers of sleet all day we now have snow falling and it's
starting to accumulate on the grass. Wind has dropped significantly as
the surface trough is now overhead.

What snow on mainland England. Are you sure? I have a crate of vodka
in just in case we should have a flake here. Moggy refuses to wear the
hard hat I have bought her - she will surely perish. Good job the GFS
has a mild outlook on the 211200 run.

There is clearly visible convergence on the 15 minute animated radar
(avbrief).

My brother is stuck in Disley, he cannot get home to nearby Romiley!
