It appears this heat health warning system doesn't apply to Scotland. Do
we not get heatwaves here? It's currently 25.6C here, which is
officially TOO DAMN HOT.

Interesting that the trigger threshold teperature is different for
different parts of the country. I note it ranges from 28C for the NW
England to 32C in London. Do higher temps really have less of a health
effect on vulnerable people in London? I realise they are more likely to
encounter higher temps more often but I'm suprised that factor would
make such a big health difference.

In my experience most of them fail to come off anyway ;-)

Currently 22.9°C here.

I think you do get acclimatised to the temperatures where you live. It's
almost reached 80F here now, which is most definitely uncomfortable for
me (I don't like the heat anyway, never have) but this is presumably
just a typical warm spring day to someone in SE England.

Yes indeed,

What a relief for those of us north of the invisible forcefield at Hadrian's
wall ! At 25 celcius, it might just be warm enough for the BBQ this evening
here in Moffat but I may put on thermal undies just in case.
